Tina Tse + Toqu Tigu Scrap Along

Who: Tina Tse of Tina Tse Knits and Ainur Berkimbay of Toqu Tigu will host this event

When: Sept 21 - Nov 21, 2026

Where: Instagram, Discord, with an in-person meetup at the NYS Sheep and Wool Festival

How: To participate, you can

  • knit any Tina Tse Knits and Toqu Tigu Designs (using scraps is encouraged but not required)

  • post your WIP and FO photos on Instagram with #TTScrapAlong2026

  • join weekly Discord video hangouts (our Cast On Party is on Sept 21 at 8-9p EST)

  • join our in-person meetup at NYS Sheep and Wool Festival (11 a.m., Sat, 10/17/2026)

Perks and prizes:

  • 25% discount in the designers’ pattern stores during the week of Sept 14 - Sept 21, 2026 with code TTScrapAlong2026

  • A chance to win one of the two main prizes: $50 gift cards to Tina and Ainur’s pattern stores

  • A chance to win additional award prizes for: most creative use of scraps, most unique color combo, and most active participant

Participation points:

  • 1 point per WIP or FO post on Instagram

  • 1 point per WIP or FO post on Discord

  • 1 point per Weekly Discord Hangout

  • 3 points for joining in-person meetup at NYS Sheep and Wool Festival

Participants get 1 entry to the main prize draw every 3 participation points earned.

I invite you to join me for the Toqu Tigu Meetup at the NYS Sheep and Wool Festival (aka Rhinebeck) on Saturday, October 18, at 11 a.m. on the hill (check out the festival map below for directions)!

I'm excited to see you and admire your beautifully knitted creations! If you wear a Toqu Tigu design, you'll be entered into our fabulous Purl Soho gift card giveaway. Plus, there will be special prizes for anyone showcasing their So Mush Room Hats!

Thanks to the kind folks at Purl Soho, we have 10 gift cards worth $20 each to give away at the meetup! Expect trivia, additional prizes, and lots of laughter to make this gathering even more enjoyable!

Can’t make it to the festival this year? No problem! You can still partake in the meetup from your own home. It’s easy:

  1. Snap a picture of yourself in a #ToquTigu design.

  2. Post it on Instagram by October 18! (Tag me and use #ToquTiguMeetup so I don’t miss your post. Remember, your profile needs to be public for your post to be visible)

  3. That’s all—by doing the above two steps, you'll enter the Purl Soho gift card giveaway! I’ll announce the winners in my Instagram stories on Saturday evening.
